Almo Branding Initiative

At Almo, my primary focus was to develop a cohesive and recognizable brand identity to elevate the company's profile. Despite being in business for over 75 years, the company had not prioritized a unified creative direction, resulting in inconsistent use of logos, colors, and overall visual identity. My goal was to address these challenges by creating a comprehensive style guide. This guide served as the foundation for revamping corporate materials and was extended to unify the branding across the company's four divisions. Additionally, we aimed to establish and enhance Almo's social media presence, further strengthening our brand and engaging with a broader audience.

The first step in revitalizing Almo's brand identity was to establish comprehensive brand guidelines. We built upon the existing logo and colors by introducing secondary color options, gradients, patterns, and icons. We also outlined clear do's and don'ts, and selected official fonts for the company to ensure consistency across all communications.

Next, I developed a user-friendly landing page and implemented a digital asset management system. This platform provides easy access to all brand assets, facilitating the phase-out of outdated logos and incorrect usage by non-creative personnel. This streamlined approach helps maintain brand integrity across all company materials.

Following the launch of our new style guide, we initiated its implementation across all corporate and divisional materials. We also began to enhance our company's social media presence, introducing dynamic animated posts and videos to ensure a steady stream of engaging content. We highlighted to our executives the benefits of using unified and polished materials—including presentations, digital media, print, and event assets—to enhance our business operations.

 

These concerted efforts significantly increased the demand for creative and marketing services within the company, leading to a quadrupling of the size of our creative department. This expansion has further strengthened our ability to deliver high-quality, impactful marketing initiatives that drive our business forward.
