NXR


NXR Culinary, the exciting new sub-brand from NXR, tasked me with developing a polished, user-friendly website to solidify its powerful online presence. Despite limited resources, I managed the creation of images and videos from concept through to execution, meticulously showcasing the high-quality products of NXR Culinary. This enhanced online experience not only significantly improved performance metrics but also elevated customer satisfaction, resulting in delighted clients who appreciate the brand's commitment to excellence.

As the exclusive distributors for this sub-brand, we enjoyed considerable design freedom while maintaining the established aesthetic of the parent company. Our initial task was to decide on the colors and fonts that would define our brand's visual identity. We chose to retain the core charcoal gray color and the original font to ensure brand unity. However, to distinguish our sub-brand, we introduced a subtle blue accent color. This new element, along with minor design updates like line icons, dividers, and refreshed buttons, helped us create a unique yet cohesive look.

Moving from the foundational stages of content review, sitemap creation, and wireframing, the next phase in the website development involved transitioning to the creative layout using Adobe XD. This stage is where the visual elements begin to take shape, merging both the structure defined by the wireframes and the aesthetics that define the brand's digital presence.

 

One significant challenge faced at this juncture was the limited image content available—specifically, the existing images were only factory shots with plain white backgrounds. These types of images, while clear and professional, do not convey the lifestyle or the context in which the products can be used, which are crucial for engaging customers.

Following the approval of the desktop mockup, I proceeded to adapt it for mobile, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices. As developers began transforming my mockups into a functional website, I shifted my focus to creating video content. This included a main promotional video that would feature prominently as the hero content on the homepage, alongside several mini videos detailing product specifications.

Despite facing constraints in resources and operating under a tight production schedule, I successfully produced videos that not only met our objectives but also greatly impressed the client. The final product was highly satisfactory, demonstrating effective storytelling and technical detail that enhanced the overall appeal of the website.
